Spelling Awards

Children following the Read Write Inc programme spell words daily linked to the new sounds that they are being taught that week, as well as spellings to help them review previous sounds that they have learnt. After RWI/Fresh Start children follow the 'No Nonsense' spelling scheme which is linked to the National Curriculum spelling lists. They have the opportunity to achieve a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum spelling award!
