Computing at Baguley Hall

The scheme of work for computing is currently being reviewed. More detailed information will be available shortly. In the meantime if you have any questions please contact school.

At Baguley Hall Primary School  Primary School, computing is taught both as a discrete subject, and in a cross-curricular way when the opportunity presents itself.  All children years 1-6,  have a discrete 45 minute computer lesson per week.

The Computer Suite and the Ipads in school, along with a range of other resources such as programmable toys, are used to help pupils access the Computing curriculum.

In Key Stages 1 and 2 the National Curriculum is followed. In the Foundation Stage, the Information Communication Technology requirements stated in the Knowledge and Understanding of the World element of the Early Learning Goals Foundation Curriculum, are covered in continuous and blocked units.
