World Book Day

Baguley Hall has gone book crazy today! Well done everyone, you looked fantastic. Can you guess who these characters are and which book they come from?

world book day!

Thank you to Manchester Airport who came to read with us for World Book Week

We were so lucky to have individuals from all across Manchester Airport who came to read with our classes today and gave each child a book. Lemony Snickett were very excited to read Brain Freeze by Tom Fletcher- the author of Christmasaurus. We learnt a lot about the different jobs at the airport and enjoyed learning more about the different roles. Thank you!

Look at our super moving Christmas toy!

In year 5 and 6 we have been making moving toys in Design and Technology. Our toys all have CAMS and CAM followers and are designed on an axil with a christmas themed character that moves on top. Ask one of our designed how they made their toys.

Well done Morgan who bravely cut her hair off for The Princess Trust this morning!

Morgan followed in Miss Robinson's footsteps this morning by bravely cutting her hair off for the charity The Little Pricess Trust- who make wigs for children who have been through chemothrapy. Miss Robinson and Morgan's mum were trusted with the big job of cutting her plaits. She will now send off the hair to the charity to be made into a wig. If you would like to donate to the charity and sponsor Morgan's fantastic deed, follow the link below.
