Many thanks to the children, parents and Wythenshawe Waste Warriors who have done such an amazing job collecting litter from outside the school grounds over the weekend. It looks amazing!

National Lockdown:

School is currently closed to all pupils except the most vulnerable and the children of key workers.

The details about remote learning for all other pupils are on the Learning from home tab.

Reopening 8th March

The Government have announced that to support the wider opening of schools, lateral flow device (LFD) testing is now available for households, childcare and support bubbles of primary and secondary-age pupils . LFD tests can be carried out at home and kits can be collected from local testing sites in Manchester. More information can be found online using the following link: Rapid lateral flow testing for households and bubbles of school pupils and staff  This link also includes information about ordering kits on line in exceptional circumstances.

Dear parents and carers,

Following the Prime minister's announcement, I am delighted  that we will be welcoming all children back to school on Monday the 8th March. We can't wait! I will send details of all the arrangements next week.

Whether your children have been in school or learning from home, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your support during this  lockdown, and especially for the kind and generous messages you sent to the staff team before half term. They were really touched by them all.

Our Wellbeing TreeThank you also to all those of you who have supported everybody by keeping your children at home when you can and accessing our Remote Learning. I know what a commitment that has been for you, attending all the zoom lessons, supporting your children with the work and uploading it onto the VLE. In doing all of this you have done everything you can to prevent this lockdown causing any further missed learning for you child/ren.

I have been in the zooms this morning to deliver WOW certificates which I look forward to every week. I did notice the attendance had dropped a little in some of them. Please don't let your children think of these last couple of weeks as an extension to the half term break, prior to coming back to school. The zoom lessons are exactly the same as what is being taught in school. Being up to speed with them will really help your children transition back into school.

Thank you all, and I look forward to seeing everybody on the 8th!
